I am happy to announce that I am a co-owner of the new Zen Life Wellness Community clinic in Owings Mills!

We have opened for mental health counseling already and will soon be having a public open house for our community acupuncture services.

The website is at http://www.tzlwc.com — not quite ready for prime time, but if you can stand a lot of construction dust you can start to check it out.

Hygeia Counseling Services will not be going anywhere — I’ve just decided that its time to start expanding and most importantly proving some of the other healing modalities (like acupuncture) that help with a healthy life.  Hoping to be able to add some nutritional or herbal consulting as well in the future.  The neat thing about community acupuncture is that by providing fully clothed acupuncture in a comfortable small group setting, you can do it for much cheaper ($20-$40 per visit) and provide the service on a walk-in no-appointment needed basis.

Our clinic is about two miles outside the Beltway near Reisterstown and Pikesville.  Acupuncture is proven to work with a large number of ailments including anxiety, depression, pain management, allergies, and insomnia.  I have had a lot of success referring clients experiencing panic attacks to other community acupuncture clinics in the past.
