The Careful Engineering of Junk Food Impacts Holistic Health

by Michael Reeder on February 20, 2013

This wonderful story concentrates primarily on the physical health impact of junk food.  But of course the mind and the body are NOT separate.  When I get a moment I’ll look for sources discussing how these same types of food can wreck your mental health.  In the meantime its good to realize just how cunningly our foods are engineered and a bit of what is being done to combat this.

I frequently see a difference in mental health when my Baltimore clients start eating better.  Sometimes its a regular balanced diet, sometimes its three meals per day, sometimes its Atkins diet or a gluten-free diet.  Regardless — careful choices rather than impulse choices translate into better health.
